CatEye & CatStrap Bundle for Gas & Hybrid Vehicles - Catalytic Converter Shield
The CatEye & CatStrap Bundle includes both the CatEye Alarm and the 7ft CatStrap for maximum protection. 
 
The 130 dB alarm adds an ear-piercing deterrent to the CatStrap that forces theives out due to painful sound in the undercarriage area. The alarm detects motion as soon as a thief slides under your vehicle, so they are forced out before they even try to begin cutting.
 
The 7ft Catstrap for gas or hybrid vehicles is commonly used to protect 4- and 6-cylinder engine cars and small SUVs. For vehicles with multiple catalytic converters (e.g., full-size trucks and SUVs with V8 engines), add an extra 7ft CatStrap to this kit.

The Catstrap & Cateye Bundle is available with a Manual or Automatic Alarm configuration. The manual alarm option is controlled by a key fob to arm/disarm the system when parked vs. driving. The automatic alarm automatically arms/disarms itself when the engine is off/on (no need to manually activate).
 
Select the best option for you:
  • Manual Alarm:
    • Best for RV's, plug-in hybrids, or any vehicle with electrical charging or for vehicles that sit off for long periods of time.
    • Cars with an automatic engine shut off feature when the vehicle comes to a complete stop.
    • Uses remote Fob control
  • Automatic Alarm:
    • Best for daily driver cars/trucks and vehicles that are driven frequently with a healthy battery. The automatic feature eliminates the need to remember to set the alarm. 
    • Automically arms/disarms itself when engine turns off/on
 
NOTE: The automatic Cateye automatically turns on and off when engine turns off and on by sensing voltage at your battery. When the engine is running, voltage is higher, when engine is off, voltage is lower. The voltage thresholds are adjustable, however, we recommend it should only be used with healthy batteries for best reliablity. It also includes a remote control fob for testing and deactivation purposes.

Automatic Alarm:
  • Best for daily driver cars/trucks and vehicles that are driven frequently;
  • Best where the automatic feature eliminates the need to remember to set the alarm daily.
